We've now moved on to the home office. This room is just off the kitchen and was originally a laundry/mud room. It was converted before we moved in: ![](http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/544854_2907249534847_579399998_n.jpg) The paneling was nailed AND glued... ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) ![](http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/552924_2907280575623_1668824686_31990698_750266464_n.jpg) Since the walls are such a mess, I rough patched the top half and I'm going to put up paintable wallpaper and then we'll put up bead board/wainscotting on the bottom half. Same floor as the kitchen & dining room will go in the office.

That's awful after all your hard work! I think I would just sit down and cry.
Hopefully insurance covers it AND a new fridge!

It's not the fridge, just the water supply line. Just got off the phone with the insurance company, adjuster and water restoration company. The guy at the insurance company was MEAN! ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) Told me I should have called a water restoration company already - well, no one told me that and I got up the flooded water. I didn't know it required additional attention. My agent didn't tell me I needed to call anyone when I submitted the claim yesterday. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png) The adjuster was very nice and will be here on Tuesday. The water restoration company will be here tomorrow - they are going to rip up my floor! and remove whatever else needs to come up. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
