The truth is, you want to make this the same as a race issue and it isn't. You know where the delete button is. Knock yourself out. And to say you'll teach your daughter to love everyone no matter what, is a lie and you know it. You hate on anyone who has a different view than you and that just manifested itself in your attempt to lash out in this thread. Your lil pic up there just proves my point.

i didnt even read the link so i dont know what he said. people say all kinds of whacked out shit. doesnt mean i have to pay attention to it. i disagree with people all the time, usually i just stay silent about it. then i shrug my shoulder and eat a piece of chocolate. i dont like it when people spout hate but if their message falls on deaf ears then really what harm are they causing? do i cringe inside when i hear certain phrases? sure i do. turning around and arguing with someone about how they feel won't make anyone change their mind and all it will do is stress me out, so i dont bother. i just keep doing what i do and let others do their thing.

Sorry you are a bigot and are mad because I pointed it out. Keep living in your little world of denial. You can call it anything you want "your beliefs, your opinion" it's hate. Pure and simple. How many gay friends do you have? If any. Would you tell them to their face that you think they're unnatural? Would you allow them around your children? What if one of your kids grows up gay? Would you except them or try to change them?

And yes homosexuality is the new minority it's okay to hate on and it's socially acceptable. It's not okay with me and I won't hold my tongue. Gay rights=civil rights= human rights I'm sorry if my wanting to treat people equally offends you.

Meanie - you've got it all figured out. At this point you took the debate and made it personal and now you expect me to engage you in name calling and whatever else you want. I feel kinda bad that you see people in the fashion you do then blanket yourself with the false belief that you are somehow a better person because you support one group of people while pointing your hate filled finger at others. It's all good though...

Gay rights=civil rights= human rights I'm sorry if my wanting to treat people equally offends you. And this is why you are angry and I'm not. You lost perspective before you even started typing. When you know the difference between hate and disagreement, then I may be inclined to debate with you on a topic. Until then, debating with you is moot. You create your own reality on this topic. One that is a far cry from what was actually typed by me and others. If you can quote where I shit on a gay person or black person in this thread, then you may have a point. I'll wait and see if you can...

my dad is so against gays its not even funny. usually i just roll my eyes at him. i mean, he's my dad. but one day, we were all having a discussion about it, and he was talking about elton john adopting a baby. he was ranting about how it was wrong, they were going to "teach" the baby how to be gay, he would grow up just like them, etc etc.. i looked my dad square in the eye and said "daddy, aren't you glad that that's not always true? kids don't always end up just like their parents. look at us - you're a bigot and we're not."
i kind of thought he was going to pop my head off, but he just walked over, hugged me, and went out to smoke. i dont think he's ever said another word about it. not around me anyway.

You are the one who was super defensive right off the bat when I wasn't even talking about you. If none of what I say applies to you then why do you care so much? I said there all all kinds of Christians. I am talking about the kind like Kirk (ones who vocal about homosexuality being wrong and a sin) *IF* that doesn't apply to you then why jump all in my ass? I said on page 2 that I wasn't talking about you. YOU made this personal not me.

The thing Kirk said about how he'd be if his kid(s) were gay did make me sad for them though. If any of them are, I doubt they'll tell him.

Oh, you're right. He'll tell them to pray the gay away.

Raging against Christians vs. raging against one particular individual are two different things. You, my (former- lol I had to) friend have done both in this thread then tried to backpedal and say well, maybe, only soooome Christians, yadda yadda yadda, then posted your little Christian pic. So let's get real here. If someone is a Christian who disagrees with you they categorically must be wrong because GASP they believes in Jesus and have the ball-dacity to think something other than I do!!!!!
What I told you was my POV as a Christian and why I think you are wrong in your villification of the link blubbers originally posted. The irony here is that the first person off the top of my head that comes to mind is Susie. She and I disagree on almost everything, but I still genuinely like her. That must blow your mind.
