Yippee! Kitchen is 3/4 of the way painted and the microwave over the stove is installed. Countertops should be installed within the next 7-14 days.
Oh Crap! The weather sucks and I still have the kitchen cabinet doors and drawers to paint & prime in the garage.

J and I were at Best Buy renewing our cell phones. We finished, and I stood up and all of a sudden I felt this huge warm gush. I looked down and my pants were literally SOAKED in blood ... I sat on plastic bags we had in the car on the way home. I had to throw my pants away because they were SO soaked in blood ... after that I had so many clots The doctor that read my scan said my uterus looked perfectly normal with no tissue. Then my OB looked at it and said that is NOT at ALL normal and there was a good sized chunk in there. So I had it removed - recovery was super smooth. I was awake during the procedure. It was emotional for me for basically no reason so I was just imagining women who have it done because of miscarriages and my heart was broken for them! We saw that one but DH said no.
He wants room in the yard for dogs, gardens, pool, and hot tub. I have decided I really just need a lot, no house, LOL!
How's the realtor to work with though? I am shopping for one of those, haha!

Oh, wow! I'm glad you're okay and everything went smoothly.
I really like the kitchen. So much counter space.

GW if you are looking for a realtor we have the MOST amazing one ... he is kind of our "squadron realtor" haha he has sold homes to 4 families in the squadron ... the fenced "yard" doesnt actually look like that in person, there is WAY more space than it seems. We wanted space for our dog too haha. We are getting rid of that mulch and planting grass ... We were able to get the seller to pay our closing costs and basically everything else we asked. Our realtor is just very good. This home was originally a foreclosure and someone bought it as an investment piece and flipped it ... and its now on the market ... those counter tops are granite

Yep, I think I saw it when it was listed as a short sale. It's perfect for you guys, you both work and don't have time to deal with a huge yard!!!
I'm debating between going all out and just getting a house that already has everything we want, or going a bit cheaper and ripping stuff out (mainly the kitchens/bathrooms just need updating in the older houses) ad doing it the way I want.
And by yard, he won't look at anything smaller than a 6000-7000 sq foot lot, that certainly narrows my choices in my price range in Southern California!
He wanted LAND.....with sagebrush and snakes and scorpions and god knows what else. I asked him if he was insane or did he forget about the flipping rattlesnakes and the fact we have DOGS??
He said he forgot about the rattlesnakes.....................sigh..........

lol actually all of the yard work/shrubs/trees are covered in our HOA so even if we had yard work to do they hire someone for that haha
I do not want the rattlesnakes and scorpions haha you can keep those.
We also looked at fixer-upers! The thought of turning it into something unique was appealing - we had three we ultimately liked
and it IS nice a clean - a BIG BIG bonus ... our home inspection on Saturday went well too.
GW do you need our realtor?! Hes super great - I promise
