And this is reason #4584754959468498 why I am living 27 miles away from base this time.
Did you see the one about women in combat? Do these chicks have their heads in the sand? Women are already IN combat areas on a daily basis, they aren't just sitting all safe and sound in camp. (the embedded teams, motor T, comm etc all go outside the wire)

My husband had a gay female Marine he was working with in Afghanistan. She was very.... Butch (is that an acceptable term?) he said she would "smoke check" several of the guys he worked with in many areas. |

LOL @ Butch....I've never asked my daughter if it's acceptable or not. Her last gf was pretty butch, kept her hair super short, wore tight sports bras to smush the girls, wore men's clothes.
My daughter is a tall, skinny, leggy blonde, but her hair is long. I have no idea what people would call her, cute gay chick?

But she doesn't wear lipstick, barely wears any makeup. Kindof like her Mom, I hate the stuff.
I bought plenty of it for the girls when they wanted it and were old enough, just my preference for me was the less is more. She's the most like me of all the girls, except I like men ;-)
