I enrolled today at CCCC I'm taking the EDU 119 intro to early childhood education certificate then in the fall I will start working toward my Associate in applied Science. I'm pretty nervous I've been out of school since 1989.

If you end up needing to take developmental psych or educational psych take Mr Jerry Snead. Love his class!

Good for you! Don't worry, I hadn't been in school since 83 and Coastal was a breeze. It's hard NOT to get an A in most of the classes.

Just grab a notebook and pen and head to class. the first day is usually completely wasted going over the syllabus and writing your name on stuff. You usually do not need the book and I never buy the books until after the first meeting because sometimes the instructor will flat out tell you that you don't need it.

sometimes the instructor will flat out tell you that you don't need it. Either that or that you can use an old edition, which costs a fraction of the latest edition.

What they said. I use a separate binder for each class though but I was taking a lot of classes so it helped keep me organized. Buy used books. I'm so dumb when it comes to that. I always want it to be in the. Eqestcondirion possible and then I never crack the book. Big waste of money. Get a planner though like one where you can write you homework every night and have a month thing too to write when tests and stuff are. Like the one you had before with me.

Did you check LYS, Amazon, etc? Amazon is where I get most of my books now. I've spent as little as $3 on a textbook that would have cost like 70 or 80 bucks new. ASK THE PROFESSOR if you can get by with an older edition.

The only problem I have with Amazon is sometimes it takes forever to get books. Otherwise I love them. Eqestcondirion and that word should have been "best condition."
