How high does your heart rate go when you work out? Has it ever gotten high and concerned you?
When I'm on the eliptical my heart rate goes up to the 190's and 200 and the machine keeps telling me to lower heart rate. I feel okay during, a little head throbby but could def push harder, I just don't want to keel over with a heart attack! lol

Mine usually chills in the 160-170's when I'm on the Elliptical. Web MD has a heart rate calculator that says I should be between 160-240 BPM but when my heart rate gets too high or intense it freaks me out too lol.

Are you new to working out blubbers? If so, the cardio will help your heartbeat lower both at resting and while working out. But it will take quite a few weeks. The max you should be at is 80-90% of your max rate. Something that will help your heart rate recovery time (rate at which it slows back to normal) is to do cardio for a few mins, slow down, speed back up, slow down, etc instead of just staying at a faster pace on the elliptical the whole time.
