Why do they care so much about weight? Who the eff cares. Someone being fatter than me doesn't make me any thinner.
I think they try to say things for shock value.

When I worked at PRC I worked 12-9. It was really bad on my marriage. Michael suddenly had to take on my role for dinner and bed time and we never saw each other. It sucked. When I'm a nurse it'll be similiar but I won't have to work 5 days a week. I can work 7-7 or 3-11 or whatever. Or hell I could work in a clinic and have normal houra.

I'm not working outside the home til R is in pre-school at least. I had a different opinion before I had him, too. I can just spend the next few years FINALLY getting school done and being with R all day. I'm fine with that.

I used to know everything too. I could tell everyone how to live their lives. Then I lived mine for awhile and I realized I don't know shit and I don't care how other people live unless they're bringing it to my house.

You guys that are thinking after preschool may change your mind then, too. But you may not. Situations change. I found that after H started school, there was still so many things that I needed to be home for. Volunteering at her school, field trips, odd drop-off & pickup hours, doctors/dentist appts, taking care of the household & vehicle maintenance, vet visits. Something just always seemed to be in the way of going back to work part or full time... and there's been several occasions where we've both said "good thing I'm not working right now!".

I'm planning on starting college this fall. Joshy finally starts Kindergarten, I'll be putting Jacob in a daycare/preschool and he will be in Kindergarten next fall. It will take a few years to get my degree (vet tech, and have to do pre-reqs first) so essentially we are looking at me starting work full time when Josh retires in 6 years. I'm kind of scared, I have been out of school/work for 10 years.

I'm terrified I'm going to fail. I am the special type of stupid that will forget to show up on exam day.

That's me too. I also day dream a lot and forget to take notes or write down assignments. Highschool was awful for me. Getting my CMA and CNA wasn't quite as bad because I did a lot of hands on as well as book stuff. It's easier for me to remember things if I see them.

Huge suggestion, buy one of those calendar books with the month all on one page and then where it breaks it down day by day soo you can write homework assignments on the days and write exams on the months. I would also make a master calender with all your classes on it color coded based on the syllabi you get. I have both and it REALLY helps. I also have a seperate one where I write the hours I'm in school on every day but its dedicated to kid stuff so I know when I'm free and won't have to m8iss class.

It just sucks when instructors change the syllabi a lot. If i take summer classes i think ill do it month by month so i dont get so annoyed when it changes.

Yeah I ran into this acouple times this semester but not too much. I have a seperate binder for every class and every one has the master calendar in it. I think doing it for the semester is good but ill only print out a month at a time.

Last semester I was convinced one of my finals was on a Thursday and I get an email from my instructor asking why I missed it. Shit happens, but he was nice enough to let me take it. Thank god that was my last semester for my AS.

Coastal doesn't let you retake exams at all. The teachers can't change the schedule of them or anything.

I just went back after 13 years. You will be ok. I just tell Siri all my class stuff. "Remind me that my schiz is due April X". "Okay, I will remind you." I am lazy. LOL
