Just finished applying to UNC-Wilmington for the Fall semester. I'm already accepted back to PSU in the Fall but if I can get into UNC then it would be better for the family life That was stressful though. I hate college applications. OH and seriously, $60 application fee?!? Plus getting my PSU transcripts sent (luckly only $9) but how do families do this when their kids apply to multiple places?!? Rediculous. *fingers crossed* I get in.... In less stressful news I'm down 14lbs in my 4 weeks of being healthy YAY!! How's everyone else been since I've been MIA with DH post deployment (no post-deployment baby to report).

Lots of the colleges offer HS students waived fees if they apply "early". We're getting a lot of those offers right now. Also, depending on income, you can request a fee waiver. Oldest won't be applying to any colleges he isn't really serious about attending. Right now, the list is ECU, UNC Wilmington and Appalachian State. I'm sure it will continue to grow as the literature continues to roll in.

Yep, early application and some colleges actually have a free app.
Cait applied to 10 schools, but we only paid 4 application fees.
Deb, he won't have any problems with any of those schools. ECU was still sending Cait applications long after everyone else's applications had closed, they had problems filling their freshman class that year (2009)
