I got the same ticket 1 day after my registration expired. Renewed it the next day and my husband went in and sweet talked someone and they dropped it. Shouldn't be that biig of a deal.

:/ I got my inspection done and I went to renew it online right now and the system is down for maintenance.

Just go to DMV license plate agency tomorrow - you'll get the new tag right on the spot.
Otherwise, you'll have to wait for it in the mail.

Yeah but I would have a printed receipt showing that I did it. Now if I drive anywhere I can still get another ticket. I'm less concerned with waiting for the sticker than I am getting a ticket. Plus I don't remember but I'm 99% sure they don't take a CC at the office. ETA: Yep "Payment for transactions at DMV Offices are limited to cash, money order or personal checks[?]." There is a reason I'm using a credit/debit card for it. :/ Ah well. I'll just wait then.
