Fucking OUCH. Any helpful ways to get it to go away? I have antiseptic mouth wash and I've been using orajel for the pain.

I've heard if you put vaseline or that braces wax stuff on your teeth across from it, it will reduce friction.

Dab milk of magnesia on it. It will dry it up quickly!

Corpsman told the hubs to use the mouthwash. But you know how corpsman are... that whole change your socks and drink water thing.

I get them often and once one comes, others quickly follow. I use canker sore medicine that burns like hell, tastes disgusting, but puts a protective barrier on it to speed healing

I very rarely get canker sores and when I do they only last a couple days and aren't that painful. But HOLY COW, I've had this one going on a week and it hurts like hell. It's on the inside of my bottom lip. I've been using the antiseptic mouthwash and it burns like Hell but thought it might help. I might have to get some canker sore stuff, instead of the kids orajel. That stuff hurts like Hell! Have you ever used it? No wonder Karlie always threw a huge fit when I put it on her gums.

Just swish warm salt water around for about 30 seconds. Do that every couple of hours. The salt water will cauterize the area & speed healing.

I swish with salt water a few times a day, like Mermaid said. It helps.

Now I have a canker sore! I don't even remember the last time I got one. Luckily it's in a spot where there's not much friction. I don't know what's going on with my body. I got a frickin cold sore 2 weeks ago and haven't had one of those in almost 5 years. I'm falling apart starting with my mouth.
