UGHHH. Karlie's potty training. She does really good until I put her down for a nap or something like that. She's rip her clothes off, her diaper off and sometime I find a wet spot in her room. GRRRRRRRRR. I have a shampooer and use it every time and then I shampooed the whole room yesterday. It still smells. Suggestions?

resolve carpet cleaner for pets? it gets rid of stains and odors. i don't see why it wouldn't work for regular pee spots. i used it when my son managed to take his diaper off and pee off the side of his crib and onto the carpet. no pee smell anymore

I mix vinegar and baking soda when my dogs have accidents. Works pretty good.

What do I do? Just scrub it? Let it soak? I'm so lost I've shampooed over and over. I've tried Borax. Nothing is working! Or maybe I'm having like pee smell anxiety because DH said he can't smell anything.

I just put straight white vinegar in a bottle, spray the area until saturated, then let air dry. Spraying vinegar around baseboards and cleaning your kitchen with it will also help deter ants.

If the vinegar doesn't work (it should) perhaps Nature's Miracle. You can get it at the pet stores or in lowe's/home depot.
If it were me, I wouldn't put her back in diapers for naps; especially if she's ripping them off. That can also get confusing for her. Just keep her in her panties, but make sure you have a good cover on the mattress. When I was training H, I would keep a beach towel underneath her sheet and just change it out if she had an accident.

Staying dry during naps/overnight is a good indication kids are ready for potty training.
If they're peeing while they're sleeping, they're probably not ready.
One exception, if they've been dry during sleep time and all of a sudden begin peeing, have them checked for a UTI.

Buy the waterproof zip bags for the mattress. I have them on all of our mattresses here, and I keep a couple extras in case they get ripped.
