Lol. I kinda like it but I'm so busy now it doesn't seem too bad.
Meanie I have fun on facebook when I'm feeling pissy or need entertainment. There are some good "debate" pages with military spouses on it that are fun.

I'm awake I actually got to sleep in until 830. wooot. We took in a barn cat. It hates us. LOL. Not really, but it's not coming around very fast. It just stays behind the couch. Its still a kitten so I didn't think it'd be so bad :/

Give him time. He's probably just scared. I watch the show "My Cat From Hell" and it was pretty enlightening.

K if you have a room you can keep the kitten in with all his things (litter box, water, food) that is a great way to get a feral or semi-feral cat used to you. Just keep them in there for a month and go in and spend time with them petting and sweet talking A lady I know back home used to take in feral cats and this is what she would do to turn them into loving fluffballs!

Aww, poor baby, he's probably just scared. Give him time.
We always started kittens out in one room with all their stuff too, then let them find the rest of the house on their own once they were good at using the potty box.

Yeah last night I moved him into the dog crate which sounds kind of mean...but he actually went to the bathroom in his litter box!! I had his food and a towel in there with him and I let him out of the crate this morning to explore the bathroom. He was sick when we got him so we took him to the vet and got meds so I have to have him in a spot where he can't run and hide since I have to give the meds to him twice a day. When we hold him and pet him he's happy and purrs but other than that he doesn't want much to do with us. lol
And since he's not litter trained I don't want him peeing and pooping all over my house!

it shouldnt take him long to figure out the litter box, its instinct for them to bury their waste.
it took chloe around 3 or 4 months to actually be sociable really well, she hated the other pets. she's still pretty much a bitch to everyone but me.
