My mom never let me go anywhere alone in a store by myself. She was too paranoid. Guess that's good?

Mine were raised in a different time so they could go as long as they all stayed together, even that wasn't until the youngest was 6 or 7. But it was usually while I was grabbing the last thing on my list and if I caught them NOT in the same aisle they didn't get to do it again for awhile.
Jules never lets Ethan or Noelle out of her sight, but they live in Atlanta. I wouldn't let my husband out of my sight in Atlanta!!

Nope, never. I don't Luke play outside by himself either.

Holy heck. That's crazy. I think I went to the toy aisle by myself.

That's how Adam Walsh was taken; he was in a toy aisle. (while his mom was off having an affair) Glad that little girl put up such a fight & was able to get away! We used to let H go but we would always be nearby and usually on the phone with her.

I let my 9 year old take a tour down the girl aisles by herself. I'm usually only one aisle away.

I don't like my kids further than I can reach in a second, but I'm paranoid. As long as they are in my sight I am ok, but no more than 20 or so feet away.

Cadence can't be out of my reach. Maley's old enough though.

Usually I make them hold the cart. Josh is more relaxed than I am, and it drives me bonkers. I really try to not be a crazy mom but its hard.

Although joey generally walks in front and grabs what we need.

I always went to the toy aisle alone. I always returned to my mother promptly cause getting your named called over the intercom is soooooo lame.
I'd never let my kids do it though. However, the kid napper would bring em back in a heart beat after having to listen to Light Saber noises 24/7.
