So, logged in to views my grades only to learn that the 5-7 page research paper I have to do is due SUNDAY. Nope, it wasn't on the schedule but there is a "drop box" for it for this unit. FUCKING YAY. "Assignment: Research Paper
You will choose a topic of relevance for your program of study to research. Your 5–7 page paper should be submitted in accordance with APA guidelines. You would include the pathophysiology and treatment options of your topic and also, your rationale for choosing this topic.
Your grade will be based upon the following:
* APA paper guidelines compliance (5 points) * Pathophysiology of topic (60 points) * Treatment options (20 points) * State the reason you choose this topic as is relates to your program of study (5 points) * Spelling, grammar, professional tone (10 points)
Please see the Course Schedule for specific due date. Late work cannot be accepted and will result in a zero (0) for the assignment."I'm good once I get going. I can type pages and pages of bullshit. That's how I scored an A+ in my English class. BUT, anyway...throw some topics at me. This is for my pathophysiology class by the way

What kind of class is this? Do you just pick any medical condition? If so I would say:
Heart failure - b/c there are several kinds and you could do the pathophys of each
COPD - b/c then you can do the pathophys of emphysema and chronic bronchitis
Since you mentioned ADHD, if you want to stick with psych I would say schizophrenia b/c there are different types and you could include all of them.

Or diabetes since type 1 and type 2 have different pathophys and treatment and that will make your paper longer.

If I'm understanding pathophysioloy correctly... I would pick something like Myasthenia gravis, any kind of neuro degenerative brain disease like Parkinsons oo or Huntingdon's, something like muscular dystophy- you can go through all the changes and the effects of each muscle and how that effects the body and even go though and how it progresses in the body etc.- fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva is an interesting one.. Those are my favorite that we studied last year.

Ughhhh fuck me. The paper I wrote a couple years ago isn't on my mom's laptop. Fack. Time to suck it up and just get it done with. Yeah, I have to pick a topic and then explain what happens to the body, the tests that are done to check for the disease, what the normal/abnormal results are, treatment and all that good junk.
