My son is 3 and he does "okay." Usually great, if he's really interested, but I still cannot imagine him doing 3D yet.

Lion King was the first movie that we took our oldest son to see when he was just over 2yrs old. He is now almost 20! He didn't like the seats so he stood up the entire movie with his hands on the back of the chair in front of him, eyes fixed to the big screen. Every now and then he would eat some popcorn and take a sip of soda lol. Now my 15yr old wants to go see the Lion King 3D lol. I think we will go next weekend. Not sure if the older one will want to or not ;p

Ok, I took her yesterday. She was actually pretty good! The earliest was at 5, so she started getting tired towards the end and screamed once. LOL! she didn't wear the glasses, but it was only a tad blurry without the glasses. She probably didn't even notice a difference. It was really awesome in 3D though!! Very glad I took the chance and brought her. lol she wasn't the youngest in there either.

Kids are supposed to be brats during kids movies. They shouldn't be at adult movies. It's 3D though...I personally think it's a waste of time and money to take a young child to a 3D movie, and sometimes, it scares them. But give it a shot! The worst that will happen is that the kid is awful, and you take them out! I was just thinking the same thing about the 3D aspect of the movie. Lion King is pretty intense at times. Isn't there a scene where there's a stampede? Can the movie be seen without the 3D glasses? It's been so long since I've seen a 3D movie - back in the day when the glasses had a red lens and a blue lens. You can. The objects that they make 3D are a little blurry though, but it didn't bother her. I didn't have to pay for her either. Only 3 and over count. lol
