I filed my tax returns on January 18th... Drum roll please... My NC refund hit the bank already! That's a first. Usually my federal refund hits a few weeks before my state. Doing the happy dance as I go off to bed and dream about new countertops for the kitchen! ;D

I already got our federal return and I'm going to have to amend the return because I forgot that I had a W-2 coming. I guess that means I'll have to file a state return after all. >_<

we just filed ours the other day. i think the return is supposed to come in on the 8th. most of it goes into savings to cover any emergencies and the rest is taking us to costco. here i was worried about 3 teenage boys and grocery bills, when i really should have been worried long before!!!
