What age did you guys put your kids into a big kid bed. Right now Karlie is in a toddler bed, but it doesn't have the toddler rail attachment on it so the sides are a little wobbly. Not unsafe, just weird. Plus her bedding is just weird, it doesn't look cute at all. I'm kind of wanting her to have a regular bed, but her crib turns into a full size. I already have a full size bed and rails, so there's no big issue there except that it'd be huge for her. Do you think I should keep her in the toddler bed, full size bed, or get a twin bed for her?

My oldest was around 4 and my youngest was around 2 1/2-3, if I remember correctly.
My oldest has a queen and my youngest has a full, FTR.

Luke was 3, almost 4. Connor has a racecar bed. He would rather sleep with us or on our floor :/

B is in the crib conversion toddler bed right now. I think when we switch we'll get him a Full bed. I remember having a twin bed and it sucked because I move sooo much while sleeping. He's the same as me so full it is!

I also have another just regular toddler bed at my mom's I think...If I didn't sell it. It's a light wood color though and her dresser and toy box is cherry. :/ I just don't know if I should go ahead and switch her of just keep her how she is until next year.
Cankles, do you still have the crib bedding on his? Or did you get a toddler set?

I just use the sheet that came with the crib bedding or one of the gazillion other sheets we have (all basic blue, green type the one that came with has farm animals super cute) and he has I think 5 blankets in there (big fleece, big knit, 3 small knits he moves alot and likes to drag them around). So basically the bedding isn't anything special but I don't go showing his room off either so it works for now. I keep going in the big kid section of target though and they have some CUTE sets.

Also, his crib doesn't have an available nice wood conversion kit so I just went to walmart and got the $20 white mesh bed rail and use that. His crib/toddler bed is a hot mess but w/e he enjoys it and likes being able to get in and out on his own. He's 22 months but he fell out of his crib noggin first around 20 months thus the conversion

That's pretty much how Karlie's too. She has a soft blanket has to have, a quilt my mom made and the blanket that came with her crib set. The big kid section is so freaking tempting! I can't really find a cute toddler bed set, they are mostly character sets and I don't like any of them so I probably just keep her in what she's in now.

A went into a twin bed around three, her crib converted to a toddler bed so she was in that for about a year.
J went straight from the crib to the twin trundle bed that came with A's twin bed. It was a set that was my brothers, solid mahogany wood for both beds.
C was about 2 1/2 when she graduated to the twin trundle, J moved to the top one (she was 4 then) and A was moved to a twin over full size bunk bed in her own room.
The other two didn't get anything bigger until they hit their early teens and each had their own room.

I must be a bad Mom. Both boys have twin beds... They're 17 & 11!

Deb I don't think I got a bigger bed until I was 13 or so Another reason for a full vs. twin (for me) is that it can eventually be used as a guest bed if needed.

I was almost 29 when I got a big girl bed... Went from a twin to a queen size, but I had to share the bed!
