So I've been applying to jobs left and right and got a response to a Front Desk Clerk position with this email.
Hello(my name here), I will be calling you to set an appointment for your interview. Please take a few minutes to complete the following quiz, Here. Don't worry about being billed, this is setup as part of our interview process with a partner company.
Once you've completed the quiz you'll receive your score and time. Please note these so we can discuss this during the interview. This quiz will not effect your eligibility for the position - just something to discuss while I get to know you.
Are you available tomorrow after 10am?
Hope to hear from you soon, Rosalinda Spraggw
Now the quiz from one of those $9.99 phone subcriptions. I took the quiz but don't want to get billed, and she said not to worry but I don't have a choice. So I sent her a professional email asking for further instruction because I don't want to pay for a subscription. I called my husband and he said it sounds scammish, I agree with him but the email seemed way to personal to be a scam. What do you think?

Plus she could e-mail you a quiz vs. having a sub company do it. It just doesn't jive. Is this from a Craigslist ad or something?

I don't mind it. It just bothers me that I sent my resume to this job posting, and on it had my address and contact info. No SS# though. So I just hope I don't get flooded with junk email and telemarketer phone calls.
