I thought they were bonkers!! BUT - I MISS JACKSONVILLE, NC.  Shhhhhh... don't judge me.. I love Okinawa. We've been here for just about 3 weeks now. I think it's beautiful.. the people are so respectful and nice, and the food - gosh, don't even get me started. And I don't know if it's actually Jville that I miss, so much as the memories, and my friends.  Oh well, so I decided to come catch up with you gals and get my fix. How is everyone?!? |

Right now I miss it right now because of my fucking allergies. SERIOUSLY. WHAT THE FUCK. Why can't my nose just be clear? I bet I've gained 10 pounds of MUCUS. It's gross. I'm nauseous. I feel like shit. Fuck you ragweed. The end.

Right now I miss it right now because of my fucking allergies. SERIOUSLY. WHAT THE FUCK. Why can't my nose just be clear? I bet I've gained 10 pounds of MUCUS. It's gross. I'm nauseous. I feel like shit. Fuck you ragweed. The end. I had horrible allergies in NC but not where I am at now. Unless I keep all the windows closed and the house gets muggy. |

I think allergies bothered me like once in NC. 4 weeks is way past the acceptable time range for me to have to deal with this bull crap. And every doctor tells me something different, and then I'll say what the dr. says and then nurses and other pregnant women will pop up saying I can or can't take whatever the doctor said. It's annoying. |

Like I said, it's the memories and the friends I miss the most.. lol It's hard starting over, especially in a new country. Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying beautiful Okinawa and will definitely make the most of my 3 yrs here.. but I miss the familiar.

If it's people you miss just remember most of them will be long gone if/when you ever get back there.

Aww.. I'd probably miss it too. It's a lot easier to drive to see family than take a really effing long plane ride.
