can i get some for my mom?
she learned a few weeks ago that she has cholesterol blockages in both sides of her carotid artery, but friday learned they are MUCH worse than initially thought.
she's having surgery tomorrow morning to remove the blockage on the worse side and a few weeks later will have the other side done.
now this is surgery is much simpler than when she had her aorta reconstructed but my main concern is right now she's a stroke waiting to happen.
thanks.

I was amazed at Kiddos heart surgery, she walked out of there at 1:00 the same day. Hope your Mom has such an easy time with hers!

the blockages are actually up in her neck. basically when she had throat cancer, the radiation damaged the arteries, allowing them to get blocked easily.

i was kinda worried about surgery but my biggest concern is she has to wait like 6 weeks to get the other side done, which is 90% blocked, and there is a super high risk of stroke in the interim.
