;D Seller accepted our offer this morning, inspection is tomorrow.... ;D ;D Don't faint at the price, it's a flip so we offered less. www.redfin.com/CA/Temecula/33220-Camino-Rubano-92592/home/6249484My biggest challenge is going to be finding some paperwork for Dh's refereeing jobs, I'm pretty sure his 1099 misc forms are buried somewhere in the middle our 15x25 storage area! Oh Joy!

I hear it's pretty pricey out there so I wouldn't think 274k would be that bad.

The house looks like new.....minus the higher taxes, HOA's and Mello Roos many of the new houses have attached out here!!
No pool but we are looking at putting at least a spa in.
Anything decent out here is $250,000 and up in a good neighborhood. Most everything we looked at under 250K needed some work, the area wasn't the best (but not the worst) or just smelled like mold or something. We wanted a yard for the dogs so we didn't even bother looking at anything less than a 6000 sq ft. lot.
We looked at some new construction, but the mello roos on the new homes are a killer, they add about 300.00 extra in taxes a MONTH. So while you can GET a new house for 260,000-289,000, you then have to add that 300.00 a month to your payments.....OUCH!

I'm looking at houses in FL. Much, much cheaper than Cali. We want somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000-2500 sf. The prices that we are finding are anywhere from 150-200k. HOA fees are anywhere from $100-$500 a year in the neighborhoods we are looking in. Of course since we are finding so much stuff and things are looking good he won't get the job down there. =(

Beautiful!
Not meaning to be nosy, why do you need your husband's 1099s? The income info is on your tax return, no?

IDK, the agent just said to find it if we could just in case.
They know all our stuff is in storage and we didn't plan on buying quite THIS fast, so I'm just going to claim it's buried, (which it totally is, Dh and his buddy forgot to leave the filing cabinet near the front, it's in the MIDDLE under a 10 foot wall of stuff now.) Everything got so mixed up when they unloaded it's just a mess.

When I refinanced, I just signed a form (I'd have to look up the form #) and they pulled my return directly from the IRS.
Didn't even have to give them a copy of my w-2s, etc.

Yeah, I can access the taxes and print them from online AND a thumb-drive I have as back-up. I just never made a hard copy of his 1099's. We've never claimed that income for a loan and aren't now either.

Thanks!
I can't wait to soak in the huge tub!
It's been raining and COLD at the beach here too. Camping may be cheap, but sheesh the weather could cooperate a little!!
