So sorry for your loss.
FYI, it's Grief counseling. Check militaryonesource.com for resources.

OH I'm so sorry!
Yes militaryonesource is good. They can lead you to someone in your area. They give you a certain amount of sessions and then if the counselor feels you need more they go through Tricare. I'm not sure how it works from there for standard. I do know that in Hawaii (I think that's where you are?) they have a counseling place there. They used to be in some trailers over buy the bunkers just before the flight line. They may be able to help you without going through Tricare.

I remember the place in Hawaii, but I'm not there :/. I moved back in with my mother in December when DH deployed so I could help take her to chemo, appts, etc. It's just so hard because it went from her doing well to she's in the ER with pneumonia and them telling us 3 months to a year to 3 days later she is gone. I know I need some type of counseling, just wasn't sure how it worked with Standard..but I'll def look into militaryonesource. Thank you all!!!!

There is already going to be "one of those" fights with one of the sisters. I can't even believe this is what I have been stressing out about the night before my mother's funeral. TAKE IT ALL. My mother would want us kids to stay together and not let things tear us apart.

Stace,
I'm so sorry for the fighting that is already beginning. It's so heartbreaking to hear.
Is it one of your sisters or one of your Mom's sisters?

It's one of my sisters. Our suspicions were confirmed yesterday and I'm just amazed at how people can act in times like this :/

Try to stay strong and don't let anyone bully you into something you don't want to do, just because it's "easier" to give in.

Sadly, that is me. I will give in to anything because I don't want to fight with anyone.
