Anything excited happen so far this week? Any big plans for the weekend?
The Amish started on our garage yesterday and got about halfway finished, but then they received a death message last night so they wont be back until Monday to finish it.
I've been getting ready for a really big craft show this weekend that will hopefully bring in a couple hundred bucks.
We applied for a home equity loan to build our basement, we'll see if we got approved later today. I don't really care either way. I hate the thought of having a loan against the house, but if we want the basement done now that's the only way. If we don't get approved for whatever reason, we'll have to save for about 3 years.
I found a mushroom in my garden and am supper excited to go mushroom hunting with my dad this weekend. And then we have an Easter dinner Saturday night and then again on Easter.
What's everyone else been up to?

I miss mushroom hunting. And Amish people. LOL.
I haven't been up to much. I'm taking a break from school, R is growing like a weed. My parents are visiting next month.

Question, what kind of mushrooms do you guys find around there? Morel Mushrooms. They pop up around this time of year. They are found in the woods. I bread them and fry them and they are DELICIOUS. |

Wrapping up my third week of vacation! The first two were productive with moving and reorganizing... this week started off with a sick kid, and now I'm sick.
Monday I start my new job. Excited but also very nervous and scared! I still need to freshen up on my statistics and macros a bit and get some work clothes. I am DREADING the shopping part...

Just got back from the gym and paddle boarding.
The rest of the time I've been looking at houses and stressing over not knowing where the hell we are going to be in less than 5 months. lol

Packing, painting and cleaning, getting the Penske truck tomorrow so the loading can begin. Then more cleaning and hitting the road on Monday.

I was wondering about the mushroom thing too! lol Back where I'm from we hunt for a different kind of mushroom and I knew it wouldn't be something LM was into. lol

Boo for the plague!
I got the dining room and living room painted and the bathroom touched up where the paint peeled from the water damage from hurricane Irene today.
This crappy rain we've been having is keeping me from completing the painting on my days off.
I still need to do the den and the hallway, then we can lay the floor in the dining room and kitchen.
I still need to pick out carpet for the den and living room.

I've been trying not very successfully to get my house cleared out for the move. No one seems as motivated as I do. :/

I hate packing so much. Unpacking is great, at least everything has a place it needs to be. I seriously have panic attacks when it comes to packing. I kind of sit around the empty boxes and crying like a fucking basket case.
