Poor Dh.......his Dad has been giving Dh's phone number and our house number out to everyone Dad thinks will be on that side of the family feud at the funeral.....  One of the unliked Uncles called his cell like 6 times, then called the house phone last night. I lied, said Dh wasn't here and hung up on him, haha! NOBODY has that number but his Dad so we know how the uncle got it. Thank goodness that FIL doesn't have MY cell at all anymore! Sooooo......Dh was already in a bad mood when he got on the plane this afternoon. I feel bad for whoever gets on his last nerve tomorrow. They have never seen the DI side of him, haha!! I told him to let it rip. Those jackasses deserve it. |

Oye, it's not going well so far.
MIL was escorted out of the funereal home today for acting like a paparazzi and constantly walking around taking flash pictures while the preacher was speaking. WTF???

Dont feel bad. My husband's family is just as bad. My husband had to escort his great grandfather's wife (?) out of the viewing because she through a fit that he was there paying respects to his ex. At his graduation, one family member decked another in the hotel lobby. There are many many more stories but *sigh* it's just too much for me. lol

Maureen your family's in the Houston area too? I wonder if all that pollution from the refinery's is frying their brains?
I'm the one who needs some patience. Dh was supposed to tell his Dad to quit giving our phone number out without asking first. He's now decided it's not a big deal if his Dad just hands out OUR number willy nilly. WTF.
Soooo.... One phone call to Vonage coming up. It was getting disconnected when we move anyway.
Wanna bet he gave my cell # to his Dad and sister without asking ME?
I texted him with a question after the funeral, he responds with "I'm at lunch with Dad and sis". Doesn't answer my question at all or add anything else. He was at a restaurant, no reason he couldn't have. So I called him, he answers with " What?" Um, hello honey? Totally acting like he didn't want to talk to me in front of them. I asked him to answer the question and then hung up on him.
Dude might be paying a cab for a ride home from the airport if he's going to revert to Texan Neanderthal.

Oh, Ok, Dh's entire family has lived from Conroe on down towards Houston for 150 years. They never leave. Only four have ever joined the military and left, and all them were from Dh's generation. OMG, MIL was taking pictures of grannie in the casket too!! Who DOES that? That woman is a ghoul!! One of the cousins is agnostic? Anyway she didn't close her eyes to pray at the beginning and saw MIL go up to the casket and take pictures!! On top of the walking around like a paid photographer snapping shots of people there! My skin is crawling......yuck, ewww..... |
